These terms cover your use of the Fair Hours app for Jira Cloud ("the app"), supplied by Kauê Natan Gonçalves Bidim, trading as Saoirse Software in Ireland ("we", "us"). Installing or using the app means you accept them.
A licence to use the app on the Jira site it is installed on, for as long as your subscription is active, for your own internal business purposes.
The app is charged at the price shown on its Atlassian Marketplace listing. Billing, invoicing, taxes and refunds are handled entirely by Atlassian under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, and their rules take precedence over anything on this page about payment.
Atlassian's open-source, nonprofit and academic discount programs apply to this app: open-source projects use it free. Atlassian checks eligibility and applies the discount when you buy.
Time logged through the app is written into Jira as the person who logged it, in Jira's own worklog — the same place Jira's own screens write to. It is not held in a system of ours and it is not tagged as belonging to the app. If you stop paying, or uninstall, or delete the app forever, every hour ever logged through it stays in your Jira, searchable and reportable exactly like time logged by hand. There is nothing to export and nothing to migrate.
Nothing of yours is deleted or held hostage. Concretely, while a subscription is not active:
Renewing turns writing back on immediately; there is nothing to reinstall and nothing to restore.
The app prices the time your team logs in Jira. It is not a payroll system, an invoicing system, a tax calculation, an accounting record, or legal or financial advice. It does not pay anybody, does not produce payslips, does not handle income tax or social contributions of any country, and does not decide what a person is owed. The rates, multipliers and rules are the ones you enter, and what the app reports is arithmetic on the hours your people logged. Checking that the result matches your employment contracts, collective agreements and local law remains your responsibility.
The app runs on Atlassian's Forge platform and depends on Atlassian's infrastructure. We aim to keep it working and to fix problems promptly, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service and we do not control Atlassian's uptime or its APIs.
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, or for payments, invoices or budget decisions made on the basis of a report without checking it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Support is provided by email, in English, on business days. Write to support@saoirsesoftware.com. We aim to reply within two business days.
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your Jira site; billing stops under Atlassian's rules. Time already logged stays in Jira — uninstalling does not remove it, and is not meant to. We may end this licence if the app is used in breach of these terms or of Atlassian's Marketplace terms.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
